HIV/AIDS Awareness and Prevention
The
American Red Cross has developed educational programs that
teach the facts about HIV/AIDS. The following HIV/AIDS
Programs are available:
Basic
HIV/AIDS Program - This program is divided into
Fundamentals and Prevention Skills. Fundamentals provides
information about HIV transmission and prevention.
Prevention Skills helps people apply the facts about HIV
to real-life situations.

African American HIV/AIDS Program - Information
regarding HIV/AIDS is provided to African American
communities in nonjudgmental and culturally sensitive
ways.

Hispanic HIV/AIDS Program - Information on HIV
prevention is provided in a manner that is relevant to
Hispanic cultures.

HIV/AID Peer Education - Students who are interested
in teaching their peers are trained to teach the facts
about HIV/AIDS.
