VOLUNTEER

Red Cross volunteers are people who wake up in the middle of a cold winter night to help a family forced from their home by a fire, teach people how to be safe and save lives, staff blood drives to assist in the process of collecting lifesaving blood donations, and keep the Red Cross operating every day.

A great way to find out more about Red Cross chapter volunteer opportunities is to attend a volunteer orientation.  The orientation sessions will include a brief history of the Red Cross, what Red Cross services are provided throughout the United States and across the globe, and local services and volunteer opportunities.  Please email Eileen Ryan or call (309) 743-2170 ext. 125 if  you plan to attend.

Volunteer Orientation Dates (held at the Moline office)

Monday, August 18 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.
Tuesday, August 19 5:00 - 6:30 p.m.

To sign up, call Eileen at (309) 743-2166
